"The Face of BLUEYE 2009"
Come join Blueye Eyewear and SOS Children’s Villages who will be hosting the Face of Blueye at Base3 Leisure Lakes in Midrand. The Blueye team aim to create an event that showcases the best of their eyewear while giving back to the community SOS supports.
Blueye will be giving students a chance to enter in or nominate who they think the Face of Blueye is. 8 finalists will be chosen for the competition on the 14th of November, where Base 3 Leisure Lakes will house the event to find someone that represents the Blueye product.
The day will be filled with varied extreme activities, this hopes to keep all attending well entertained. With a line up of great DJ’s, para-gliders, parachuters and the Face of Blueye this day hopes to be the playground for extreme sporting – all in aid of orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa.
Blueye was formed when the founding members discovered that there was a real need in the market for an eyewear product that meets the specific need of extreme sports people. Blueye a now has more that 40 specific sport retail outlets stocking the product. They are proud to be represented by 1 team of more than 20 sponsored athletes at the top of their field in the South Africa.
“The 14th of November will be our first attempt at not only finding someone who will represent our brand but also gives us the opportunity to give back to SOS Children’s Villages and help orphaned children in South Africa.”, commented Jurgen Rojahn, member of Blueye Eyewear.
This event hopes to attract people from all over Johannesburg, students and sports enthusiasts alike with the aim to find the Face of Blueye and create an environment for all to enjoy extreme sporting and entertainment.
Tickets for the event are R80 and are on sale at Computicket (www.computicket.com).

To all ZAGlamour Patrons and Affiliates,
We'd like to thank all who attended the "Face of Blue Eye" event. The event was a massive success as all the elements of the event came together seamlessly to create of the the best "extreme lifestyle" event ZAGlamour has been involved in!
From wake-boarding to the Motor-cross jumpers, from the fearless sky-divers to the glamorous fashion and modeling show...if you weren't there you missed out!
