SPL!ING

Stephen 'Spling' Aspeling has been reviewing films since 2007. Watching movies and publishing movie reviews online became the norm after his 365-in-365 Wordpress expedition. His love for film led him to study film at UCT, which branched into SPL!NG, a movie portal, where he reviews everything to do with movies, from movie trailer to bargain box.

Spling is driven purely by his passion for film as an entertainment medium. His DVD collection easily clears 900, he's been known to sit through 5 films in-a-row and he's survived TWO Lord of the Rings marathons!? He watches just about everything that hits cinemas and rental store shelves, so he's got a pretty good idea of what's what... and he'll be sure to let you know whether a movie scores anything from 'a worthless 1' to 'a timeless 10' on the SPL!NG-O-METER.

Spling is a founding member of FCASA and writes SMS-sized capsule reviews for his Mobile Movie Guide @spling.mobi, quick reviews @DVBee and picks 2-3 movies per week for more detailed movie reviews @2OceansVibe, @CapeTownCreatives and here, at @ZAGlamour.
